Peek-a-moo

We've had a glorious day today, with the sun out around 9.30am. This afternoon I went for a walk around the farm, and as always I ended up in the paddock with the cows, who were enjoying the warmth of the sun on their backs.

This jersey cow was playing peek-a-boo moo through the fence with me. I was lying on the grass to take this photo, and although the grass was damp, it was well worth getting wet knees and elbows to take it.
