Nant y Glyn
It’s so wonderful to have sunshine at last - one of those glorious November days with blue skies bringing out the gold and bronze of autumn.
I set off up the Nant y Glyn valley - a walk I’ve not done for some time - and it’s actually hot in the bright sunshine. I’m a little late for the deep morning shadows, but still there are wonderful tunnels of dappled light through the autumn trees.
Amazingly, there are butterflies - tattered and definitely past their best, and just to compound the strangeness of our seasons, green catkins appearing in the hedgerows; summer, spring and autumn in one day.
