Purposeful

At home he is super friendly, and follows you around without getting under your feet. He often wants to be picked up so he can have a snuggle and see what's going on. He is very cute and fluffy.

Outside on a walk, he is in in his own world, and extremely focused on doing his dog thing. People think poodles, especially toy poodles are just soppy lap dogs, but they are actually very clever and very athletic hunting dogs from which many of the modern gun dog breeds are descended from. Even though he is small he needs an hour of exercise per day and at the hippodrome he can really run and sniff and do dog things in a safe environment.
