Birthday Cake

Celebrating my daughter's birthday  which was last month. She wasn't free before today! She's coming with her boyfriend and my grandson. 

The cake is a chocolate almond cake with no flour. Ground almonds, or almond flour, replace wheat flour very nicely. The topping is chocolate ganache.

The weather is mild and the sky is blue with fluffy clouds.
