After the sunny day, rain for the gardens.

I enjoyed the splendid sunshine so much yesterday even though I only spent a little while outside in the back garden reading a fab new book from Cygnus Books, called The Wisdom of the Shires by Noble Smith.
It is amazing, insightful well written and if you like The Hobbit, you could enjoy this one too.
Today is my Mum's 85th birthday, the best Mum I could have wished for.
Here the rain is with us and the gardens are receiving much needed quenching. The flowers are looking beautiful, be they blossoms or humble violets.
