Autumnal Usk

Thank you for the good wishes for Richard he is feeling much better today.

However he decided to stay home whilst I had a trip across the misty moors for an urban orienteering event on the edge of Whitby. The event had a later start time to avoid clashing with the Remembrance Sunday parades. Good to catch up with friends who I haven’t seen in a while. For once it was good to have only a short drive and was there and back by lunchtime.

Spotted some beautiful autumnal colours on the way home. They looked particularly good in the sunshine. This is the River Usk near Sleights. Glad I had a pitstop for this photos as the mist did not clear either on the moors or at home.
