Perfect introduction to Nerja

Up early to go exploring and find a breakfast spot. We found it quickly. Cafeteria Calabella, with a table free at the window overlooking a beach below. What a perfect location, and right at the bottom of our street!

We spent a while getting our bearings and gradually made our way to Balcón de Europa, Nerja's iconic tourist place. The whole area around here is glorious. The rest of the day passed at a leisurely pace, including a look inside the church and a pit top at a delightful café on the square behind it.

After a refreshing siesta we caught the perfect sunset on our roof terrace and ventured out for our evening meal.
