November Heart

Last night was cold, but the temperature stayed just above zero. In the morning, I checked whether the nasturtium plant had frozen, but it’s still happily flowering, and its leaves show a very pretty lotus effect (extra 1).

The fog tried to swallow us again, but this time the sun won. When I went for my walk around lunchtime, only a fine layer of fog remained in the Rhine valley (extra 2).
