Mekong river, fisherman

Huge monsoon this morning! Wore my very big waterproof poncho, which I look absolutely ridiculous in but it works very well.
We realised this morning that Loas people are very keen on patisseries! So we are all very excited about the food!
We took the slow boat for another 7 hours. The views from the boat are amazing. You see so many fisherman. Everywhere looks so empty and there are only little bamboo huts in sight as homes.
We finally arrived but we were 10km outside of Luang Prabang so we had no choice but to take tuktuks into the centre of town. Everyone was very annoyed on the bus as we hadn't been informed.
When we finally got there we found a cheapish hostel. We went to the night market which was really laid back. We were going to meet up with some people for drinks but we had a nap. We set the alarm for 10 and woke up at 12 so we just went to bed!
