Venerable Lady

This is the speedometer of a BSA WM120, or so I was told by its owner.  It's a 1941 model, over eighty years old and "she starts on second kick".

I was in Bridport for the Remembrance Parade in the town; our camera club gets a bit of funding from the Town Council for attending civic events and taking photos for the town website and other publicity.  In the Extra is our club chairman snapping this motorbike.  Note the kettle hanging from the saddle . . .

Good news from the USA: President Biden will have some control in Congress, the Democrats having retained control, effectively, in the Senate.
