Fungi

There are a few of these fungi on my front lawn, different to the ones at the back. Not sure which type they are.
Today I had my booster Covid jab. So far no side effects. Then I came back and mowed the lawn but left the area were the fungi are growing. Also I put some bark chip down in the area where Sid runs by the bunnies because it has got really muddy there. By this time it was dark. So my plan was to walk the dogs around the village but there was a loud bang that scared Sid so we went to the fields with our torch for a dark walk. The stars were twinkling in the sky. ‘The plough’ I find easily recognisable as it is a constellation that my Dad would point out to me when I was a youngster. Then I saw ‘Orion’s belt’ I think - the three stars in a row. That is about the limit of my star gazing ability though. Then when we had gone across one and a half fields we heard fireworks and again Sid got scared so off home we went. Now back home and about to give the dogs their supper.
