Celebrating #DeafAwarenessWeek

Here an IMPACT Nepal Fieldworker is training a group of rural children in Nepali sign language. He visits this community twice a week and his young students are making fast progress. You can seee that other village children are also showing a keen interest!

Our local colleagues told us 'These language classes will help them to communicate and express their needs in daily life. It really is one of the most effective programmes in this area because the District Deaf School is out of their reach'.
