Over sixty year old clock that was mains electricity powered. The worn out mechanism has been replaced with what was lying about - a very cheap quartz based mechanism. The old hands didn't match with new mechanism, so again, what was available was used. They're a different style and a tad short, but it's working and it's been cleaned up substantially.
