Autumn Colours

As it was forecast to be a sunny day today we decided to go to Castle Drogo for a walk around the area.  When we arrived the carpark was full so we parked outside wondering what event was on.  We had thought it may be a Remembrance Sunday event but no it was a running one.  We started off along the tracks being guided along a path above the running route but it soon became clear that we couldn't get down to the river below without walking along the runners route as as the paths are very narrow in places we decided to go back.  The National Trust reception area confirmed our suspicions that there was no way of avoiding their route so we decided to head back home.  This was probably the best decision since my husband wasn't feeling that well, he has been suffering from a cold.  While we were walking out of the grounds I saw this grouping of trees and liked the light and colours.


Back home I caught up with various chores and now its time to continue  sorting out the hard drive.  Its far too easy to accumulate way too many photos.
