Fairground Attraction

Our fairground is only open at weekends in the 'summer'. I've been blipping its dereliction all week through the chain-link fence but was unable to capture the bleakness of the deserted rides.

Today, on a holiday Saturday that could have passed for November, I was their only visitor. They seemed pleased to see me. You get a lot more angles from inside the fence.

Why is it that all my bright ideas look like empty cliches on the screen? My blips are almost always a surprise to me and hardly ever what I had in mind.

Today's blip was the first image that drew my eye and it only had a couple of rivals. All the shots of bright lights, seagulls and heavy skies were rubbish. This one I just like - hope you do too. I've got half an hour to peek and comment which feels like a real treat.
