Tulips and apple blossom

After a sunny and warm bank holiday weekend, winter is threatening to return; but that hasn't stopped our apple trees from flowering. This one is a crab apple, good for jelly but not for eating straight off the tree. I managed to take this picture during a brief spell of sunshine!
