Blown away

There is one rule of macro photography - the exact moment when you are lined up for the perfect shot, the wind blows.

There is one rule of owning a magnolia - you wait and wait (and this year wait again) for it to flower, and the wind removes the beauty, leaving a pile of petals on your path.

We've had a bit of everything today.
Rain
Drizzle
A spot of sunshine
Wind
Warm mugginess
A slight chill
More rain
And more sunshine.
