Soft touch

Today is a rather bleak day, and getting worse...so I guess we're in for some bad weather. While it was still warm and windless this morning I took the dogs for a walk on the hillside behind the houses.
I was amazed to see the number of lovely colourful wild flowers still blooming. These pretty flowers struck me as being really tough in spite of their delicacy as they grow abundantly amongst the rocks and stones. I had a thought that I should let my garden go wild...much less upkeep!!
