A dry sunny day was forecast. I considered going out but first there was some bedding to wash so I could dry it outside.

It was when I was hanging the first sheet on the line that I noticed that weeds are still appearing and there was moss growing on the garden bench. Fallen leaves needed raking up too. I started work.

Many hours later all I wanted to do was sit and relax so it’s a blip of a leaf today. I hope that scraping and scrubbing the moss off the bench will extend its life. It certainly looks better.
