A Primrose by any other name……

….used to be primroses but I see them as primrose, primula and even polyanthus nowadays.
Found this little beauty in gravel just beneath our kitchen window. 
Today’s extra is a farewell to an old friend. I bought this umbrella at least 30 years ago and it has been a friend in need indeed. However sadly the struts that hold it open have all caved in and so it has to go.
