Bird Hide

Feeling a little tired after the celebrations and partying yesterday and last night we went to WWT Martin Mere on our way home for some much needed peace and quiet.

It's only recently reopened after having a case of Avian influenza at the site.

It was a gorgeous day with lots of warm sunshine, and a few birds too! We even saw a Stint. Apparently, quite rare in these parts.

We picked up the cat from the cattery on the way home. And then settled down for a quiet evening and early night.
