Battersea Power Station

I caught the 9:32am train to St Pancras, walked to the hotel to leave my luggage and then back to the tube station.

First stop Belsize Park, a wander round Hampstead (memories of being there in the 1980s). Camden for a look, spotted the Amy Winehouse statue.

Battersea Power Station is amazing, it has recently been restored. I wasn’t brave enough to do the Lift 109 to the viewing platform at the top of one of the chimneys.

Piccadilly for tea at my usual place, there was a couple at the next table on their first date, I so wanted to hear how it ended, if they arranged another date.

Finally Covent Garden to look at the Christmas tree and decorations in the market hall.
