Dartmoor 1960

Looking at some old photo's tonight remembering holidays spent in Devon and Cornwall.  This is me and my friend Wendy with a young Dartmoor pony (wow 62 years ago seems like last week) Wendy and I met when we were 11 and are still friends  after 70 years. She used to come on holiday with us. Us being my mum, dad, Auntie Violet, Uncle Bernard, cousins Bob and John, and of course Dusty the dog.
Must add Wendy was always horse mad and had one of her own, but not long after this was taken she got kicked in the rear end by one of the ponies, thank goodness for those stiff net underskirts we used to wear which took the blow lol.

Well the last 2 days have been Misty, damp and not worth venturing into the garden but plenty to do in the house, when I can be bothered. lol

Watched the Ladies Rugby League semi finals tonight, England v New Zealand, well done New Zealand who will play Australia on Saturday in the final. Commiserations to the England team score E 6 - NZ 20  but Australia won their game with Papua New Guinea earlier A82 - PNG 0
