Bury - the past

Early start today, J9s collective have got a new gallery space so we had to drop off her piece for the next exhibition (it took 3 of us to carry it!).

Anyway in the afternoon we popped into Bury as the steam railway were having a 1940s festival. It was great fun and this guy was superb singing old 40's tunes.

I also got to go on the steam trains footplate and a lot of people had come dressed up.

All that for £3 and followed by a few pints made for a top top day :)
