Arboretum Arbour

Sara, Miss Pickles, Mabel and I stopped off at the Westonbirt Arboretum on our next epic jaunt around the UK. The spring was sprung and the trees bursting into life - and it was warm!

Next stop was Bishopstone, near Swindon, to meet up with Sara's son, Tom, and the lovely Effie. As a bonus, my old school chum Phil met up after a gap of 40 years. Phil lives in Berlin and is a musician and translator. Sara kept saying how much younger and thinner than me he looked.....
