May Sunshine

Today saw the temperatures shoot up in Edinburgh (not to the extent down in England) and it felt like summer way beginning...

Much nicer weather than the Bank Holiday weekend, and a lot quieter too.

K., and I decided to go for a walk from Holyrood Palace round to The Sheep Heid Inn at Duddingston Village. I've saved you from the shot of my poor puffy bad ankle with this lovely shot of Duddingston Loch. It was taken prior to a few ciders in the beer garden!

We also decided to try out some food while we were there, as we had been meaning to for awhile and it seemed a good opportunity. K., had a burger with cheese and bacon which went down pretty quick, while I settled on beer battered haddock and super chunky chips. It was all very nice and a prefect end to our day out before we headed home =)
