Christmas trees, supposedly

I bought this kit in the middle of the heatwave when John Lewis was practically giving it away. It seemed a bargain and a good idea at the time. I found it this morning when I was looking for spare head torches batteries. Within a short time I had broken one of the two felting needles and stabbed two of my fingers. The instructions are monumentally complex and long. I am not cut out for crafting activities, I don’t have the right minerals. There is an off chance that my daughter-in-law’s mother might like it.
This evening I have managed to escape an AGM making RunTalkRun the excuse. I don’t particularly want to do that either but it is the least bad option, and I think the rain has stopped. At least I know I will be less cross in an hour.
