Fatsia japonica

The rather strange looking flowers on this large shrub are starting to appear, and it was interesting to see that they were attracting a few remaining Wasps and also quite a lot of large flies.After a very wet night the skies cleared for a few hours this morning  before the next band of rain moved in accompanied by strong winds and a noticeable drop in temperature.
