Waxing time...

this is about half of the production that i waxed today.  all the very white pieces are what i'm referring to. 

Before i can glaze the pieces they have to have their bottoms waxed!!!!   this prevents them from sticking to the shelves of the kiln....given that the glaze melts at approx. 2300 degrees F, there needs to be a place on the pot that resists the glaze.    an easy and effortless type of job, just what i needed after making glazes yesterday!
