Mexico Day 10

A bit of a marathon day, leaving around 7.45 and arriving at our hotel in Palenque at 5pm. We wore fleeces on leaving but now we are sweating in the jungle where it is really humid.

We stopped in the afternoon to have lunch and a walk to these falls, Aqua Azul, climbing up the side from one series of falls to the next. It was really pretty. The Blip is looking back down. There were vendors all
the way up.

Our hotel is simple, surrounded by palms and lots of luxuriant plants. The howler monkeys are very noisy and quite close so we are keeping the door closed.
