Almondell Viaduct

Like loads of campervan owners we have been finding it difficult to get 3.9 kg Propane Calor Gas cylinders. After a couple of false dawns we finally located 1 in East Calder and bought it today. As the weather was good we went up Five Sisters Bing (first extra) and then on our way home went to Almondell and Calderwood Country Park where we went for a walk along the Almond towards the Almondell Viaduct. We spent a quarter of an hour on the bridge north of the viaduct watching an Otter hunting successfully in the river (second extra). However the main blip is the view of the viaduct from the footbridge with the autumn colours still really good.
