Keep off.....or else.

During a lovely walk in Bushy Park with a little pony, Cameo, we came across this swan doing it's best to keep out of harms way. It was sitting on it's nest in the middle of a small lake well away from the footpath. Dogs, children, other ducks, birds, deer and humans are kept at 'wings length' especially as she had just been spreading hers as we came along. I guess she decided we were not a threat as her wings had been tucked in by the time I got my phone out to take a picture.
These monthly walks with Cameo, just on our own, give me a chance to enjoy the wildlife and nature I usually miss when taking groups of children and horses out.
