In the dog house!

There I was, sitting in the settee, sewing up the sleeves on a baby jacket which is intended for the newest edition to the family. Sleeves completed, I reached for the main part of the jacket, ready to attach the sleeves but it was nowhere to be seen. I was sure I had put it on the arm of the settee beside me. I definitely hadn’t put it on the rug in front of the fire where I could now see it lying. When I had got up earlier to answer the phone, a certain ball of grey fluff must have had his eye on this and taken it to have a closer look. Oh no! He had more than a look at it, he had also had a taste of it and chewed off several stitches! Well, I thought that I would have to bin the project but N persuaded me to sleep on it and by morning I had come up with an idea to save the jacket. I knitted a wee extra flap to sew in place and cover the missing stitches. Job now done and it looks fine. Phew!
