before the storm

The forecast said 'rain at 11' and so we breakfasted quickly and shot off to finish our walk before it arrived.

Seeing the storm front coming, we realised the Met Office had their timings wrong and took the shorter route.

This is the point when the first drops fell fro the leading edge of the fluffy white clouds preceding the grey-black front.

We're home now, drying out, drinking tea and deciding that the planned work in the garden will have to wait. Again!
