Bracket fungi

I have had a fairly appalling day today, most of it spent in bed, but I did get out for a short amble on the Green with Hazel and the camera when the sun came out for an hour or two, knowing these bracket fungi were at the entrance of Hilliers Haven.  I don't know what kind they are and though I found a couple of possible IDs online (beefsteak fungus?), I think I'll leave it to you to tell me if you know.

Tomorrow I have an early doctor's appointment and am obviously going to miss the outing I'd arranged for myself.  However, at least I'm able to blip, which I didn't think at all I'd be doing today.
