Another day off for the hubby today. We decided to take my parents out for a day’s shopping in Solihull. Well it should have been a day but they didn’t arrive at ours until noon and then what should have been a quick coffee when we got to Solihull took forever so we had an afternoon of shopping. Thankfully the shopping centre was reasonably quiet midweek. It was good to see the ‘grassy’ sculptures dotted around which the children loved. Pub dinner followed by a long journey home because of a nasty crash on the motorway in the rain.
