Junagarh Fort, Bikaner

Today we drove to Bikaner and visited the 16th Century Junagarh Fort.  My blip shows the richly decorated interior.

Our itinerary also included the Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok, also known as the "Rat Temple", where -according to my guide book -  pilgrims worship thousands of holy rats. I was not upset that the queues to enter the temple were long and slow moving and we decided to bypass this particular attraction.
