Before the rain

A busy day.  I had an early morning refresher course at the gym as I have decided I need to add that to my routine.  Then it was back home to cook the sourdough which came out very well.  

Then back into Exmouth where we managed a quick walk along the seafront where this photo was taken before heading to a local restaurant.  
We were meeting up with friends to celebrate both my birthday and one of theirs a few days earlier.  It was good to see them both and we had a very good meal in a local restaurant.  It was unfortunate that the rain became very heavy just as we left and we were soaked walking back to our cars.  The rain continued for the rest of the day.
