Rotary meeting

I’m the Blackheath Rotary president this year and we like to have a good time. Tonight was no exception.
Lucy is a visiting Rotarian from the UK and she gave us a short but flamboyant run down on her club and the thriving metropolis of Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire.
The main event tonight was the presentation of our annual community award which this year went to Chrissie. She’s on the left in the extra with District Governor Mina who is in our club (and in both shots).
Chrissie runs the school canteen but is also very active in the school P and C, junior cricket club, the soccer club and scouts. She is also on the committee of Blackheath Golf Club and last but not least, she is a mother. A much loved and worthy recipient of the award!
