I Never Knew ....

..... this was called a Galileo thermometer. And I am supposed to be a scientist too. As far as I can see it's reading 20°C. The room thermostat says it's 19.9°C. Not bad. Anyway I thought it was colourful enough for Abstract Thursday.

We had a follow up visit from our gardener this afternoon. We really like him. And mrsfb is definitely getting her gardening mojo back. We seem to have a sensible action plan now. Looking forward to getting rid of the lavender hedge Mk1 soon.

In other news I am bidding for another modem router on eBay. I'm winning at the moment but there is still another day to go. Update tomorrow! I'll probably win this time as the wifi on my desktop seems to have totally packed up and I have had to use powerline adaptors again.

Hmm, the Command Strips didn't work with my extension socket, which kept falling off the wall. I had to buy another one which I could screw to the wall.
