Autumn Leaves at Golden Hour
Firstly, thank you all for your most kind hearts and likes and comments on yesterday's picnicking blackbird. I was surprised, to be honest - it was only a good shot, really, but you loved it and made me very happy. :-)
Gods know what you'll make of this one, which is a trimaginated shot of autumn leaves on the tennis court, shot randomly as we came down into the village after a gentle ramble.
The low Sun was dazzling on the brown leaves (no-one seems to be playing tennis for some reason), and I took the shot through the mesh fence. And it all went slightly mad from there.
Still, today's abstract theme is 'colour' and I really rather liked the semi-glitter coffee and biscuit mess that resulted from turning everything into colour averaged triangles!
The architect visit went well, and I think we have a chance at moving our ideas into a planning proposal in the New Year. In the kitchen, a new tap arrived to replace one I changed not so very long ago but which failed.
Should have been an easy job, but the existing water pipe connections just failed to reach the new tap's threaded tail. I have some copper work to do over the next couple of days.
Luckily we have another sink in the utility room...
