Loch a’ Chumhainn
Whether I’m going to Salen or Tobermory, or calling on friends in the village (Dervaig), I travel round the head of the loch. Every day the view is different, depending on the weather, the time of day, or the state of the tide (it’s a sea loch with a very narrow entrance). Today was rather damp and very calm with a hint of mist, giving the loch a silvery, mirror-like appearance.
It has been quite a busy day so I am happy to be sitting with my feet up tonight and it won’t be long until I’m in the Land of Nod (as my grandad used to say to me when it was time to go to sleep).
