Thankful

It’s been a day!
Started off with one of my wee boys being clipped by a car on the way to school. He got to school very shaken but thankfully not badly hurt, more shock than anything, the wee soul. I phoned his mum later and he was ok. Everyone was very upset, the class very subdued. They made him a card. We teach the children about road safety but in the moment the rules just fly away.
We had author Jonathan Meres(world according to Norm)visit us later on. He single handedly worked the children into a frenzy then calmed them right down again! They loved him!
The speaker wasn’t working when we tried to sing as a year group this afternoon!!
And it has rained all day.
