a mixed up sensory world

My son loves transport. It's not uncommon in ASD boys.

I love how he gets so excited to hear the announcements and how he watches the trains pull through the station.

His world seems so simple and logical in many ways. But what he loves also seems to hurt him. He can't bear loud noises and yet he craves what makes them.
