Fat Pigeon
Today has been a bit flat without the hound, but I managed to pad it out with some shopping and fitting door locks, but not with useful photos. I say that but this action shot of one of a trio of fat pigeons enjoying our homemade bread, albeit taken through the living room window with loads of reflections and distortions, is possibly worth a blip. Note the crumb in mid air in his/her’s beak.
First thing this morning there were a trio of fat pigeons on our back lawn. We think, and are hoping that they are our resident trio that we have not seen much of this summer. They are rather sad and sweet as one of them lost it’s mate on the high street quite a few years ago, and has joined the other couple ever since. The blip is one of the trio and was up on the hedge looking for food first thing, so it knows the territory. I just had to put a couple of crusts out didn’t I, and he/she was quite happy to eat it with us looking on.
