SOS campaign

We take our beautiful local beach, Cefn Sidan, for granted but before we moved here it was the focus of a big campaign. The MOD wanted to use the beach area as a gunnery range to which of course the public would have had no access. Fortunately after a massive campaign, the project was rejected and now both we locals and hundreds of visitors can enjoy the fabulous 7 mile stretch of beach and surrounding Pembrey Country Park.
