A good day for a gallery - torrential rain all day! Great photography exhibition - In Real Life by Hannah Starkey who works in collaboration with other women - often strangers- imagining how women can inspire women working through acts of collaboration.

These are old linen mills in Belfast. The photograph was taken not long after the Good Friday agreement. I noticed when people are trying to turn over a new leaf the past becomes eradicated. Only part of the mill had been demolished and I just loved the symbolism in the erasure and regeneration of history….
