Wet

Rained all night & most of the day. Some localised flooding roads & rivers - it would be much higher than yesterday. The garden has soaked up most of what landed in the garden.

Dried up in the evening & nipped to shops for bread & milk & got a fish supper on the way back. Seem ages since last one but sad that the carry outs are struggling to get folk in on a Friday night which was always busy. Remembering during lockdowns the queues outside.

Chilling this evening may put some music on later.

Not sure if I wish to try another social media app if Twitter goes. I don't really enjoy Facebook but it is a way of keeping touch of folk not local to me.

I spend too long online so maybe it might be a good thing for a while, but did like the photography & especially the nature stuff & learning about names of plants / insects. Some of the craft stuff too was inspiring.

The leaves are dropping & this one is determined to hang on even if to the flags rather than lying on the soggy ground.
