Normality

Feeling extra grateful to be able to live our ‘normal’ life tonight.
I met Nadia, a Ukrainian woman living in the village with two young children and due to have her third baby. I had offered to help with the children whilst Nadia goes to hospital to give birth as well as collecting a few bits for when baby arrives. I went to bed with a terrible headache, woke up to a message from Nadia at 1am and by 2.50am baby had been born! She simply sent a message which read ‘done’
What an amazing young woman; three children under five and on her own in a foreign country whilst her husband remains in the Ukraine.
