Boardman Tasker Award 2022

This was the best BT Award ceremony (the 39th, and 40 years since Pete and Joe disappeared on Everest in 1982) that I have been to. The six short listed authors were such wonderful people to listen to and I will buy all of their books! It was my last time as a trustee for the Award and I am delighted that intothehills has taken over my role. There were so many old friends including Chris Bonington (extra) who was our first Chairman, to catch up with.

Now staying with a friend who I haven’t seen for 20 years, we haven’t stopped talking since I got here! Exhausted but happy.
